IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

WHAT IS THE MINIMUM AGE FOR JOINING AUTO VIVENDI?

If you would like to drive our cars on our insurance policy, the minimum age is 25.
If you arrange your own insurance for our cars, there is no minimum age.

 

IS THERE A MINIMUM LEVEL OF DRIVING EXPERIENCE THAT MEMBERS REQUIRE TO HAVE BEFORE JOINING THE CLUB?

All new members are required to be approved by our insurers. New members are also required to complete one-day Supercar Driving Awareness Course with one of our professional driving instructors. This is a fun day driving one of our cars on the open roads. Prior experience of driving performance cars, whilst not necessary, is useful.

 

WHAT IF I HAVE POINTS ON MY LICENCE?

We look at every driver individually. There are no set rules about points on your licence. Our insurer will have the last say if you want to drive the cars on our insurance policy.

 

WHAT IF I HAVE AN OVERSEAS (NON-UK) DRIVING LICENCE?

Members from all over the world join the Club, and as long as you are legally allowed to drive in the UK,
we would love to hear from you.

 

WHEN I BOOK CARS, HOW LONG CAN I KEEP THEM FOR?

You can book cars for as long as you like subject to having enough points in your account.

 

WHAT TIMES ARE CARS AVAILABLE FOR MEMBERS?

Weekday bookings are for a minimum of 1 day and run from 12pm (midday) until 10am the following morning. Weekend bookings are for 3 days and run from 12pm (midday) on Friday until 10am on Monday morning. We are flexible with members and try to accommodate requests to vary these hours wherever possible.

 

CAN MY WIFE/HUSBAND/PARTNER ALSO DRIVE THE CARS?

Yes, your wife/husband/partner is allowed to drive our cars, provided they have successfully completed a one-day Supercar Driving Awareness Course and have been approved by our insurers. Charges apply.

 

CAN I SHARE MEMBERSHIP WITH A FRIEND?

Yes, friends or colleagues are welcome to drive our cars, provided they have successfully completed a one-day Supercar Driving Awareness Course and have been approved by our insurers. Charges apply.

 

IS IT POSSIBLE TO DRIVE CARS FROM THE CLUB OUTSIDE THE UK?

Our cars are insured to be driven anywhere in Europe. All we ask is that you tell us beforehand so we can make sure you have the right legal/insurance documentation and European travel packs ready for you.

 

DO THE CARS HAVE MILEAGE RESTRICTIONS WHEN I USE THEM?

You can drive our cars as many miles as you like, provided you have enough points in your account to cover the mileage.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I USE ALL MY POINTS BEFORE MY MEMBERSHIP YEAR ENDS?

Memberships expire when members use all their points. Where this happens members can simply renew their membership.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE NOT USED ALL MY POINTS AT THE END OF MY MEMBERSHIP YEAR?

Your points will never expire as long as you remain a member. Unused points will simply be carried forward to your next membership year.

 

HOW DOES INSURANCE WORK?

Our cars are insured on a fully comprehensive basis. However, they can only be driven by people approved by us.

 

ARE THERE INCENTIVES TO INTRODUCE NEW MEMBERS TO THE CLUB?

Yes, we reward members who introduce new members to us.

 

DO YOU OFFER CORPORATE MEMBERSHIPS?

Yes. We have a full selection of corporate memberships and experiences available. Some companies use these as incentives for their staff and/or suppliers.

 

DO YOU DELIVER AND COLLECT CARS?

Yes, we offer a delivery and collection service anywhere in Europe, and even have our own delivery truck which makes deliveries and collections extremely cost-effective for members who do not live outside of London. We typically charge £1.50 +vat per mile (Subject to a minimum charge) for delivering cars on our truck which is much cheaper than other commercial services. So for example if you live 100 miles away from London, it would cost £250 to deliver a car to you and £250 to collect it again.

 

WHAT HAPPENS IF ONE OF THE CARS BREAKS DOWN DURING MY BOOKING?

Fortunately, we have not had a car break down in over 3 years. However, should this occur, all our cars are covered under a European-wide breakdown service. Since we have so many cars in the Club, should this unlikely event happen, we should
also be able to quickly swap you into another car.
