NEW CARS, OUR 10TH BIRTHDAY AND MORE

A WAY OF LIFE

Dear Fellow Supercar Enthusiast,

I hope you are well and please accept my sincere apologies for not having written for so long – the start of the year has been manic for us (in a good way of course!).

Since my last newsletter in February we have acquired five new cars for the Club; celebrated our 10th Birthday with a party at the Clubhouse; held three Vmax200 top speed driving events; visited the Geneva Motor Show by private jet; and recruited a further two senior team members to our ever burgeoning team. Quite simply, it’s been very busy but of course we wouldn’t have it any other way…

Here are further details of what has been keeping us busy:

NEW CARS FOR OUR COLLECTION

We are thrilled to have added two Lamborghini Huracáns, a Ferrari California T, a Jaguar F-Type Coupe R and a Range Rover Autobiography to our ever expanding car collection over the last two months. This takes the number of cars in our collection to 18 and they can all be viewed on our website.

We have also ordered a very special and rare Lamborghini Aventador SV which will be one of only 100 coming to the UK. This is not arriving until March next year however the excitement is already building! There will of course be plenty more new cars before then…

10th BIRTHDAY PARTY CELEBRATIONS

The Club turns 10 years old this year and we had great pleasure in hosting a party at the Clubhouse for over 300 people a couple of weeks ago. Members and invited guests were treated to a night to remember with stunning cocktail creations from our guest mixologist, an array of delicious treats from our Club caterers, and live music from both Christie Prentice and the nation’s favourite beat boxers, Duke.

The Club has had quite a journey since we launched in 2005, and some of the key stats from the last 10 years are as follows:

· 119 – Number of cars we have had in the Club, from 21 different marques, including 22 Ferraris, 17 Lamborghinis, 14 Porsches, 11 Aston Martins, 10 Bentleys and 5 Maseratis.

· 1,537,545 – Number of miles covered in the above cars

· 534 – Number of members who have joined the Club since we began

It has been one hell of a ride and we are all very much looking forward to what the next 10 years will bring.

VMAX200

As well as the Club, we have also been busy with our sister business Vmax200, and have held three major events since the start of the year – Vmax200 Nine Eleven at Dunsfold, the home of Top Gear and Vmax200 Stealth and Hypermax by Vmax200, both at Bruntingthorpe Proving Ground. During these events we have hosted over 150 of the world’s best cars, who have all competed to achieve their top speeds along a private runway. Some of the speeds achieved have been mind-blowing, with the Koenigsegg One:1 and Bugatti Veyron posting speeds of 225mph, with at least another 15 cars over the elusive 200mph mark. These include the La Ferrari, Porsche 918 Spyder and McLaren P1 amongst others.

Pictures and videos from the events can be viewed at www.vmax200.com. Our next Vmax200 event is our Tour of Wales in July with back-to-back Vmax’s at the proposed Spaceport in Snowdonia and on the famous Pendine Sands Landspeed record beach.

GENEVA MOTOR SHOW BY PRIVATE JET

Once again in March we headed off on our private jet to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Geneva Motor Show. This is one of our favourite days of the year, however after purchasing an Aventador SV within 20 minutes of arriving at the show, my colleagues have told me that I am not allowed to drink as much champagne on the way out next year! Our members who attended had a great day thanks to some amazing new cars and the wonderful hospitality of all the manufacturers that matter.

This trip is quite the social occasion and if you would like to live like a rock star for a day, please join us on our jet to the Frankfurt Motor Show in September. We guarantee it will be a day to remember.

UPCOMING EVENTS

Our events are coming thick and fast this year, and as well as the Tour of Wales and Frankfurt Motor Show that I have mentioned above, we also have the following trips for which spaces are still available for both members of the Club and non-members alike:

·        Ascari to Monaco – August  (5 nights)

·        European Grand Tour – September (5 nights)

·        Namibian Jeep Safari – September/October (6 nights)

·        The Big Sur, LA, Vegas & The Canyons, with Optional Halloween Party at The Playboy Mansion – October, Big Sur (6 nights), Vegas & The Canyons (7 nights), Whole trip (10 nights).

·        Iceland SuperJeep Adventure – December (3 nights)

If you would like further details of any of our events, please email hello@autovivendi.com.  Further details of all our trips can be viewed here

One of our favourite aspects of what we do is meeting new people (we are a social bunch!), and we would love to hear from you if you would like to become a member of the Club. Full details of how the Club works can be found on The Club page of our website or please email hello@autovivendi.com and one of the team will be delighted to guide you through our membership options.

That’s it from me because I am very luckily hosting 15 of our members on our superyacht at the Monaco GP this weekend and as always I am late for the flight! Until the next time, live life to the full and please keep the shiny side up…

With kindest regards,
